Has the standout Honda Fit caught your eye? The compact car’s swooping roof and sculpted lines are undeniably striking. These are just a few of the reasons you’ll love a Honda Fit for sale at Heritage Honda Bel Air.
Honda Fit History
The Honda Fit has a rich history which first began with its debut in Japan in June 2001. After its success in other markets, it was released in the United States and Canada in 2006. In 2020, it was announced that production would cease for American versions of this model.
Other Markets
In parts of Europe, Asia, Australia, and Africa, the Honda Fit is currently known as the Honda Jazz. In 2008, the Honda Jazz was released with a hybrid powertrain for added efficiency.
Unique Features
Even with its compact classification, the Honda Fit is surprisingly versatile. The fuel tank was eventually placed under the front row seats, giving this spacious hatchback even more cargo room. It also includes the Magic Seat®, which includes four distinct configurations, giving you space for cargo of all shapes and sizes.
The configurations include:
- Standard seating – when used as a bench seat, the Honda Fit provides seating for five.
- Folded flat – if you fold the rear seat completely flat, this hatchback can hold up to 52.7 cubic feet of cargo.
- Folded up – you can fold the bottom of the bench seat up, helping you accommodate taller items.
- Front seats folded down - you can also fold the front seats completely flat, lining them up with the rear bench seat, providing a spacious and comfortable space to relax.
