Several new Honda models are going to receive a smart voice assistant with the addition of Google Gemini™. Shoppers at Heritage Honda Bel Air with compatible Honda models with Google built in can now use Gemini™ for natural, hands-free conversations. This technology replaces Google Assistant™ and can understand context across multiple exchanges.
Talk Naturally with Google Gemini™
In the past, voice assistants depended on carefully worded commands. This changes with Google Gemini™, as it is designed to understand conversational requests. For example, a driver could ask for hamburger restaurants along their route, follow up by asking when it closes, and then request directions to the restaurant. Gemini™ can also ask for clarification when necessary and respond to complex, layered instructions. Because the system is voice-operated, drivers can utilize these capabilities while keeping their hands on the wheel and eyes on the road ahead.
Have Longer Conversations with Gemini™ Live
Google Gemini™ Live expands the capabilities of an in-car assistant. In addition to quick navigation requests, you can say “Hey Google, let’s talk,” which starts a free-flow conversation. This helps with tasks such as planning a weekend trip, brainstorming for a meeting, or finding family activities near and beyond Fallston.
